About The Game

7 Days to Die is a zombie apocalypse survival game that’s unique from other games. It combines the traditional survival mode of games (eg. DayZ) with the builder mode of others (eg. Minecraft).

Installation

Normal Installations:
The default and unmodified version of the game that you purchase through the Steam store is called “vanilla”.  Installation of this version is extremely easy: you simply click on it in your library and install it like any other game.

Older versions or the latest experimental:
If you would like to run a specific older version of the game or if you would like to participate in the latest experimental version, you will need to go into the Betas tab and change the version in the dropdown box.

Mods:
Servers that completely change the game into something else are called “Overhaul Mods” and they require that you download files to your computer in order to play the mod.  To install overhaul mods you should use the Mod Launcher.  You can download it here: http://7d2dmodlauncher.org/. If you need help using the Mod Launcher, check out this video Fl00d3d made: http://www.tsugaming.com/help/ModLauncherHelp.mp4.  If you still need help, come chat with us in Discord (http://discord.tsugaming.com).

Server Information

Below is the server information for each of the public servers we are currently running.  If you don’t see the server you’re looking for or think that something here isn’t accurate, please let us know in Discord.  We do our best to keep this content up-to-date, but sometimes we miss things.

A21 (Private)

We’re currently not running any public servers.  The old “A21 No Bloodmoons” public server is now running privately – whitelist only.  If you already have an active account on this server and would like to continue playing on it, please reach out to fl00d3d on Discord.

At some point in the future we plan to start hosting public servers again.  Likely in A22.

(Donations collected at this time will go into our savings for when we put up servers down the road.  Any donations that don’t end up getting needed for whatever reason will be refunded)

Rules

While we do our best to keep the game server rules updated here on the website, reality is that sometimes it gets missed in the rush to put up a new server. So if the rules here don’t match what you see in game, the rules in the game take priority. Generally speaking we only make rules if absolutely necessary to protect from player abuse or major server performance problems. Rules may be tweaked or slightly altered on different servers if they are for a mod or a special type of server.
1. PVE Only! Do not attack, damage, harass, steal from, etc. other players.
2. No nerd poles (frame stacking) at POIs. Play through them start to finish.
3. No bedrolls inside of any POI (other than your base)
4. No glitchy structures or bugs (eg. floating bases).
5. Do not plant a ridiculous amount of trees. Only plant what you need!
6. Please do not drop mine/collapse large areas.
7. Do not farm zombies with forges or abuse screamers.
8. Do not land claim special POIs, POIs with unique or valuable loot boxes, highways, or near traders.  We want all players to have an equal opportunity to enjoy the map, POIs, and loot containers.

Helpful Bot Commands

These are chat (bot) commands that you can use in game to enhance your play experience:

!sethome
Create a free teleport point that you can use for your home or base

!home
Visit your free teleport point for your home/base

!balance
Check the balance of your in-game currency (eg. zCoins) that’s used for the shop and teleports.

!settele
Create a teleport location at the current coordinates you are standing on.

!telepublic
Toggles the specified teleport location into a public one that others can use.  Counts against your total.

!teleprivate
Toggles the specified teleport location back into a private one that others cannot use.  Counts against your total.

!tele
Teleports the player to the specific teleport location. You can only teleport to your locations, or ones that are made public by other players.

!listtele
Lists all of your private teleport locations.

!listtele public
Lists all public teleport locations.

!pack
Teleports the player to the backpack they dropped when they died.

!renametele
Renames a teleport location from one name to another.

!removetele
Deletes a teleport location from the list. You can only delete your own teleport locations.

!shop
Display the URL for the web interface, and provide instructions on how to use the in-game shop commands.

!shop 1
!shop 2
Displays Page 1 of the shop contents via PM. Each item is numbered for easy reference, shows the currency cost, and the name of the item. Changing the ‘1’ to a ‘2’ would display all of the items on Page 2 of the shop. This can be repeated for however many pages of shop items there are.

!shop buy 1 4
Purchases the 4th shop item on page 1.

!claim list
Sends a PM to you with the list of items you’ve purchased from the shop.

!claim
Claims the items you’ve purchased from the shop and spawns them. If your server has CPM installed, the items will appear in your inventory, and if not, they will fall to the ground at your feet. Be mindful of standing on sloped surfaces or other areas where items may fall out of reach quickly!
Note: The !claim command will only deliver 10 items at a time, so you may need to run it several times in a row to obtain everything. If you think something didn’t spawn, you can do !claim list to review what items you haven’t claimed yet.

Online Shops

The server bot provides a service which allows players to use virtual currency to buy items in the game. Players can use commands from within the game or they can go to these online shops, log in with their Steam account, do their shopping, then go back into the game and type the !claim command to receive the items they already paid for. Below is a list of current online shops for all of our servers. If a link is not working, it may have not been updated – so we ask that you immediately notify the admin.
