Here are some of the changes that have already taken place, or will soon happen:
- The Council has been cleaned up dramatically. Farnagain (CSS Manager) and Panoz (WoW Manager) have both been removed since their games have not become as active in the community as desired. Spazer and Nightma12 will both be retired from the Council since neither are as active as they should be, yet have been around for many years (since the beginning of TsuGaming). This leaves myself and Danpaul as the only two Council members right now. I will unfortunately be required to put in more time at TsuGaming than I had wanted to (since I'm extremely busy with my new company); but since it is needed, I don't mind. Any vacancies or lack of coverage I will do myself. Danpaul will still be in charge of all web-related services.
- Counterstrike has been removed as a featured game. I've locked the forum, and plan on moving all of the general CSS type discussions into The Hangout if a replacement leader isn't found soon.
- World of Warcraft has been turned over to DrkPwn3r and RRkiller until the end of this month. If by then they cannot get significantly more players and/or forum users, the server will be shut down. We are also actively seeking a partnership with other stable WoW servers.
- C&C:Renegade has been neglected for awhile in TsuGaming even though its our largest and most played game here. We've shuffled around a couple of Council reps to take care of it and it simply hasn't gone anywhere. I will personally be overseeing everything Renegade related from now on.
- The C&C:Renegade public servers (and subcommunity as a whole) have seen some problems in the last month with top leadership not being active or keeping the servers populated. I will be imposing immediate changes of leadership structure to the Renegade public servers, including the addition of a rep. for managing relationships with other communities. I'm also asking that all of our regulars use teamspeak while playing on our server EVERY time. This helps build friendships and makes the server more enjoyable.
- I will continuing finding ways to organize a stronger Euro (specifically eastern euro/asian) presence in the community so that they feel more at home here and able to find more players and servers that are closer to their time zones.
It is my hope that with these somewhat drastic changes, the community will continue to grow without missing a beat due to the losses.
