Its from Gears of War, the character is called Berserker and it has the unreal logo cause its made by EPIC and its engine is Unreal3, its not from UT...

The bottom left is An actual downloadable graphics demo from Nvidia, designed for the 8800 Ultra. I tried it out on my 8800gts and it wasnt too bad.

ID software has always used OpenGL and they have some really, really cool stuff in the works. Generally speaking, OpenGL usually runs faster and preforms better, especially on Nvidia cards.
This is really cool because it means that you can, in the future, use less processing power for better looking graphics. And you wont need Vista ;) Linux may even work (because it supports OpenGL)

THe BLack dude is From Crysis. And I believe, Matix, that the second row right is from the New Unreal tournament that is coming out.. Hence the Unreal Logo ;)

^My thoughts exactly.

I'd be interested to see these graphics models in motion as well. Will they hold up in motion?

Download the latest version of DirectX?
That was easy

5 seconds of google + basic typing skills

Out of interest... here is a really promising picture that I found, showing how far OpenGL has advanced compared to DirectX..
