Makes sense, I have tried to get to users profiles that way before tbh, and it works like that in the shoutbox. Made the relevant changes and it should work now.

I think you're just misunderstanding how the system works. You can always compose new mail and add their name manually (on the left side). However, I think that the profile name link is good idea too.

I recently wanted to send a pm to some1 i know had posted in a topic but it was not the first or the last post so there was no link to their profile to send it. I would like someone to edit the member's avatars to have a link to their profile for sending pms and junk.
