DVD backup help

by Brian » June 30th, 2008, 5:42 pm

I'm trying to "backup my personal dvd collection" ;) and I'd like to know how to make an .avi file so I can just put it on my hard drive and be done with the hard copy dvds (either put them in storage, or let people have them) I currently use DVDClone but that gives me different files, I just want the movie, that's it. Also I have a few TV series on dvd too, and I'd like to know how to burn them the same way, but with split scenes (each scene has it's own file, instead of one long file with 3 or 4 episodes)

I normally wouldn't bother people with this, I'd try to find it myself, but I don't even know where to start, so any help would be appreciated.
