my speakers normally work fine with my mp3's renegade , but say i want to watch something on utube it plas but with no sound i check to see if its on mute but it isnt , but if i dwnload pr0n it works fine is it just u tube?

4got to say that pr0n plays on windows media player its just when i dwnload a movie clip from a website and watch it on that website no sound

i know nothing about computers, but since im the only one here while you posted, i'll say the obvious stuff, have you tried running things like ad-aware and virus scans? have you tried re-installing your media playing programs?

if the problem only occurs when you're watching a clip on the internet, have you checked stuff in the internet options?

are you certain that pr0n you download doesn't contain any other random crap, like viruses? killer may be able to help you with any pr0n related issues...

sorry man, but since i was here as he posted, and no one else was, i thought i'd just say the obvious stuff, in the event he was even more computer-illiterate than me.

It's just that this is a specialized forum for 'help' so I want to make sure this is a Q&A setup so that future "answer seekers" can easily google their answer off of this site. Without responses that aren't educated answers.

Anyway, your suggestions were decent enough to keep so I won't make a big deal out of it. I just want people to realize that this forum is dedicated to 'help me' and not general discussion.

what browser are you using? if it's Internet Explorer, try downloading Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and see if you still have the same problem.

ok i dwnloaded firefox much faster the explorer but same proble no sound on websites , i can play mp3s from limewire , hear sounds on games just not on websites any help would be much appreciated
