you cant change the practice map however, you can host your own LAN and choose your maps rotation, starting creds, time, etc. all you have to do is set max players to 1

I have not changed the map but you can add maps. What I would like to know is can you add the computer players to the additional maps? If anyone know how this can be done please post!!

If there was a way to make the single player bots with more armor then single player would be more fun. But I feel like I have damage hacks loaded every time I play single player. 2 shots and half their base is cleared.

Isn't that kinda the same as co-op (which lags)? And the bots are retarded and weak. Might as well make it against puppies. At least they'll try to move when being shot at.

there are actually a bunch of other maps out there with bots on them, but changing the multi practice to those maps requires some very invasive editing i guess, read it off of another post asking how to change the map back in the day.

Actually adding more maps to the SP practice is very easy, just add them to the svrcfg_skirmish.ini file in the same way you add maps to the FDS. IIRC however you must play the original multiplayer map before you get to the ones you added in. You can also give yourself more starting credits this way....

Tbh I think there should be a mod made that increases the level of difficulty in the bots in Practice on command. Like, Easy is current practice, Normal is a little less than Multiplayer, and Hard is full Multiplayer, maybe even more health to compensate for the retarded AIs. Maybe fix that, to?

the under practice map is actually its own map seperate from the real under, increasing the difficulty of the bots would require you to edit the map
