Save log in's wont ever save..can u elp me!!

No matter were I go..here or there[ like say my google mail}..If I clik the box"s ,save next time to automatic log in. Every time I go back i have to enter name and Psw again..every were!!!
some kinda cookie thingamajigger issue...how can i rectifie that ?

If your using Firefox your cookie database could have become corrupted... try opening Windows Explorer and typing %appdata% into the address bar and hitting enter. Then go into the Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/<random letters & numbers>.default/ folder.

Make sure Firefox is not running and rename the cookies.sqlite file to cookies.sqlite.bak and delete the cookies.sqlite-journal file if it exists. Now relaunch Firefox and see if you can get those auto-logins to work.

WARNING: The above method will effectively erase all of your cookies, so if it DOESN'T fix your problem and you want your cookies back you should close Firefox again, delete the cookies.sqlite and cookies.sqlite-journal files and rename cookies.sqlite.bak file back to cookies.sqlite.




I will point out however that if your IP is dynamic and changes every time you visit a website your probably getting logged out because of that. Most auto-login systems check the cookie and then check the IP on record matches your current one as an additional security measure.
