The "proof" that they had was good enough for them, fl00d3d does not think that those two ss's are enough to prove that St0ne was cheating.

Thats why i said st0ne really you shouldent be posting sh*t like that since FL00D3D gave him a chance.

(From what I have heard) St0ne was banned from the other places because people didn't like him and were looking for a reason to ban him.. they say the ss's were proof enough to do what they wanted to do, which was simply to ban Stonec0ld. that's the difference.. The "proof" the other ppl have isn't enough proof at TSU because TSU looks to do things the most fairly, whereas other places like to do things with their own agenda in mind, biased.. and St0ne's story makes sense.. people have say "What are the chances he could accidently do it twice?"

1.) I doubt those are the only 2 ss's he's ever taken, He's probibly taken a few thousand by now, it's just those 2/1000 ss's were found and exploited.

2.) probibly 1 out of 10 times I go to hit the "backspace" botton on the keyboard while I'm typing and accidently hit "\" because it's right next to it.. it happens

but the person whom this topic is originally about however, already admitted to cheating. what's more comdemning than that?

In my whole 4 yrs of playing renegade. Ive never got what st0ne got in his ss.

And he did it 2 times in 1 match -.-
Suspicous. He got banned because hes sucpicous.

Just like you guys banned MoBiE for his suspicous shotty.


Anyways im just trying to get more decent people to play here @ tsu. And spurs would be a nice addition. Ive played cw's with this guy before. He dont cheat.

when such information is available to me, or if someone whose rights didn't get bugged could provide it, i will make a decision.

I can tell you that recently we seem to have been getting a bit more lax in our ban policy, which is exactly the opposite of what we need to develop and maintain a successful server. Admission of cheating is considered irrefutable evidence and ban-worthy, and having done so, despite the honestness of the claim, it severely decreases any chance for repeal.

However, pending the results of a comprehensive slog of all tsunami servers, and the advice of my co-admins, there is a (very) slight chance that I may consider some arrangement to rectify the situation.

Fl00d3d has more important things to do, and Renegade is my division, so I will throw the final verdict. I've already got a bad taste in my mouth, so overwhelmingly swaying my co-admins and perhaps a few other prominent renegade community members (whose opinions i actually trust) is about the only chance you've got.

I've remained quiet in this topic until now to see the uninfluenced opinions of regular players and lower mods. I personally like this guy, I've spoked to him on teamspeak and he seems very sincere. He cheated on cw.cc with a hack that is very easy to get caught with, and we don't honour every one of cw.cc's bans.

That said, it is true that we are getting lax with our ban policy, so an example needs to be made. If we do unban spurs, there'll be a mob of other people wanting to be unbanned too, then we'll be accused of bias and the very qualities we pride ourselves on will be squandered. For this reason, I reccomend we keep the ban, despite my better judgement.

He is definitely a puzzle... barely any record of playing on our server, so no good or bad trend to base a decision on... but i agree with medici, bending policies just brings larger, uglier issues to the table... i have discussed this with fl00d3d, and we have yet to come to a final verdict, so please, more information, good or bad, would be a great help.

How long ago was he banned? To my knowledge of talking to him he has not tried to evade his ban. He told me "I play on this nick and if this is one banned then I wont play there"

He did get caught for cheats. It wasnt in this community and the biggest point is he wasnt caught for rgh.

He is a good guy, he is fun to play with. He has more skill then I do, better team player, better attitude and would be a good addition to the community.

As for the ban policy. Yea so some people might renerage and want to get unbanned. Name those people cause im pretty sure they were caught for rgh which is a lot fuckin different.

He has never done anything to disrespect this community. He was caught on .cc, it wasnt rgh and it wasnt this server.

I think there should be a mod vote or something.

I'm going to allow his unban on the condition that he starts playing here regularly. If he rarely plays here or isn't active in the community ..... or I start hearing cheat complaints ..... I will reverse it.

I'm trying to be fair about this, and I understand that back when he was banned it was at a different point in the evolution of cheating in Renegade.

Thank you, I won't make you regret it. I look forward to playing on TSU servers when I am on renegade-- mostly on the weekends until summer.

The whole big head thing was really stupid. I have a feeling some people may want to know the full story, and I have yet to tell it on these forums.. Basically after taking almost an entire year off from renegade.. I put bighead on and I had a friend over.. I was basically just going to go into a server and mess around, but the second I joined one server I was banned-- and quickly learned my lesson. Apparently in that server there were .cc players, so a topic was made on the .cc forums and I promptly admitted to it.

I took and still take full responsibility for it, but I can guarantee everyone on these forums it will not happen again. I run the latest scripts and renguard (though that means very little anymore), and I learned my lesson

I look really forward to meeting the rest of you guys in the community, I'm sure you can tell I am good friends with techman, tsumurder already, and I have played with mofire before. I can't wait to meet you all!

Now all I need is Teamspeak address and IRC
