I wouldn't really call financing it "trouble". I'm not trying to say the game is active, but just because it isn't as active as it once was doesn't mean it's a cause of "trouble".

I'm waiting to hear back from Nightma12 and Pharaohgakash about a few things before I made a decision about Renegade. But right now it appears that we'll probably downgrade to only run a single server (if that). If we don't run a server, we'll let the game R.I.P. because I do think that the community as a whole is dead as well. 300 people in the world playing a game from 2002 is not active by any stretch of the imagination. I know they say there are thousands upon thousands of unique accounts - but thats just people having multiple accounts and names (ie. GameSpy). I would bet my life on it.

If we DO end up ending our Renegade server(s) I was thinking we should put something like:

some how we may get more activity if we do that

Just because TSU might stop their servers it does not mean we can't play it though.

Ya as more and more games come out, more people detach from Renegade piece by piece and move on...
