After talking with Matix about how he felt we should have a Hardware forum, I thought about it a bit and felt that we could benefit of a forum that not only talks about hardware, but anything PC related ..... like help with your broken mic, viruses, installing new hardware, configuring a program, setting up your new video card, etc. You can do all of that in here.

Anything that is about your computer that is NOT a help topic, should go in 'The Hangout'.

A faster computer is important on the internet... Its like your "online penis"
Faster computer = Bigger penis
Slower computer = Smaller penis

Its all relative. But you definatly want to keep your computer as fast as you can. Also important to use Registry cleaners and other computer health tools for a smoother experience, and dont forget to use Virus protection!

I assume I need a new harddrive and possibly a new motherboard...only the two most expensive computer items.
I think I'm just gonna buy a laptop soon neway.

if your getting a new harddrive and MB, just get a whole new comp lol

hard drives aren't THAT expensive... unless you're looking at a 10Krpm or a RAID array and a "decent" MB isn't too bad either.... but if you're setting up a performance rig, EVERYTHING will be expensive

I could always try using my 16GB 5600rpm hard drive ...
