Well, apparently AMD is producing new chips.
They are making "Black Edition" chips.
So far, they say the new AMD Anthlon X2 5000+ BlackEdition has an uncapped FSB.. So I was wondering, is this hella good or not? lol

erm it means in the competing sine and cosine waves between intel and amd, amd's back on the upswing

They also have 6400+ BlackEdition but im not sure if its uncapped FSB..
You might wanna check that out since im getting a new pc kthx..

well regarding the uncapped fsb... i'm not sure if this has even been done before so it could have interesting results.... but from my experience with amd (yes i'm very biased) they do a great job with their chips... and the ones you mentioned are already ridiculously good so i'd definitely give the black edition ones a thumbs up... once you decide be sure to let me know what you've picked... i have to keep tabs on whose pc can compete with mine you know

Well if the uncapped FSB is true, all I have to say is, damn that has to be fast?
Besides, best processor in the market atm is Intel Core 2 Quad Extreme QX6850 (one im getting..
)

Yeah, the cheapest you'll find it is $1,000, and yes, it is also the one i want :p
