i guess ipods are impervious to water dmg. my first ipod went through the wash, worked fine after a day. now my mom put my second ipod through the wash and it wasnt even in my damn pocket (i paid for it she wont pay me for a new one) and it works now. but the backlight wont work but its still waterlogged so i gotta wait but its connecting to my comp sooo yahhh. will my warrenty cover backlight "failure"

edit* it was connected to the comp n it died. the battery is dead or somethin it wont respond anymore. i'll wait till the mornin

on cell phones there are stickers that change colour when immursed in water... so... better check for one before you send it in..

maybe replace the battery? I know they dont like water that much. You could have fried the battery.

i think ur correct. everything else works fine (besides the usual ipod glitches) but the battery wont charge it instantly dies when unconnected from a power source but it connects to the computer plays fine and can get music n shiz on it. i'll get a new battery watev

i fell asleep with it on and plugged into the wall i wake up the screen is cracked and its bent out like someone pried the screen forward... fall asleep on it again the display of it that didnt get wiped out from the crackage is all fuzzy... i come home from school and its even more fuzzy... still wont charge.... screen went out, fell asleep, playing buy guess and check to find songs wake up it doesnt work... plug it into the computer, says its corrupted... try to restore >>> dial up so in short...
