I'll be the one running this server so, better give my two cents and the low-down to how this came about.

A few weeks back, me and fl00d3d were talking on MSN about servers. I also mentioned that, maybe, I could run TsuGaming a Sniper Server. He liked the idea, but the fact I would have to pay for the server (at basically the full price) kind of put me off the whole thing.

But, I was speaking to Lee about All Out Hosting and we came to the conclusion that I can get a bigger discount for the Sniper than I first thought.

What mainly fueled my idea for a Sniper was the poll a little while back when RIVAL asked if the CCTF should be changed into a Sniper. At the time of the poll/thread closing, Sniper was winning 15-5. As you will notice, the idea for a Sniper disintegrated.

I've had experience of running a Sniper Server in the past (I ran the FuX/WitteFuX Sniper and the old RenHideout Sniper - which I'll admit wasn't popular) and I don't recall someone making a major complaint on how the server was run.

So, now it's up to you. I'm willing to commit for the long term to run a Sniper Server. I used to love running a Sniper Server (even though FuX was getting about 1000 people a month and not all of them were consistent in playing). If you like the general idea, please, do vote in the above poll.

The server will most likely be 24 players, mixed Sniper and on a0000000e (unless fl00d3d, Lee or another high authority figure has complaints against that).

I voted yes... I totally resisted the last choice; I rarely AOW, and when I do, it's decent, but not the best <3
