so ehwan said he killed 3 artys in one. i exit and load up fraps, and medici and ace are in here as well. i get in ehwans arty, start up fraps and he kills one shot, and right after kill me one shot

I witnessed this, deifinite RoF, this is enough evidence, and he was banned on the scene.

I doubt ip and nick information wold be useful for the cctf presently, but here you go anyway.

Wtf Killer? You need to listen to me. I told you that he was already banned and that I would deal with it before I turned in... if we don't communicate things just get confusing, I was the ranking mod on this Killer, so you should let me deal with it completely, it gets so irritating when you need to deal with unnesessary inputs, as well as important ones from all directions.

Again, if someone gets banned for cheating on one of our servers they get banned on all of them. The only reason we don't have a shared banlist is because it would also require a shared modlist.

It sounds like this guy was someone unique (not a ban evader) and that he was using ROF. You guys banned him for RGH. I don't know what he was using and tbh I don't care because a cheater is a cheater. But before rushing into !ban and !addban try to consider all evidence and ban for the proper cheat in case future evidence comes up and he tries to prove he didn't have RGH.

ie. Assumed RenGuard worked. And you banned for RGH when he proved that he was on RenGuard network. Then we'd have to uban him since he used ROF but was banned for RGH. Get my point?

Anyway, nice work and I'd like to comment ... yet again ... that I appreciate the hard work my mods are putting into catching cheaters. Keep those Fraps videos rolling. As you can see, they're usually pretty damn conclusive.

The reason I said that the ip information wouldn't be too useful is because it is verey likely that this is the guy involved with making =AC= and BiO members look bad, but I provided the data anyway. And I did speak to K.C. on IRC, I just think that the ranking mod involved should oversee everything because it stops confusion, and there is one person that should know everything. I did !ban for RoF on the scene, as soon as sufficient evidence was collected, and it was very clear he was using RoF, another reason we should communicate. My ban remains however, so that isn't a problem:

N.B. Cubfan: It's expected that a random player in the server would scream 'z0mgz b4n!!1!', but you're a mod and should know better. When I asked you to be patient and let me make sure sufficient evidence was gathered in the server, you started arguing, and that really isn't helpful.

Any SFE teamspeak channel users: Please try to keep quiet and not talk when someone else is talking, in situations like this, when we're trying to gather evidence and communicate, it makes things very difficult, and the last thing Ace and I need to be doing is messing around removing people's voice rights.

Yeah, and like I said, sorry, I didn't know you or anyone had banned him yet, since it was never posted, nor were any !ips But heh, doesn't matter. Miscommunication gets the best of most people in many many cases, irl and ingame. Good job, and thanks to everyone that helped throw this guy behind the green glass door that says 'BANNED' in big red letters !
