Interested in representing a game on behalf of TsuGaming?

As part of a formal expansion phase in the community, I'm launching a program that will enable leaders of other communities or active members of this community join the TsuGaming Council and control all aspects of a single game on behalf of the community.

Here are a couple of things you need to understand before reading any further:
  1. We will provide a list of games that we're looking to target. These will be games that we have a strong desire of having as an active part of our community. We will update this list as needed.
  2. If you are qualified to lead a community (or already have a community for a specific game) that is on the list, you will receive lighter prerequisites. Any game that you wish to run on behalf of TsuGaming which is not on our list will still be considered, but you will have to meet stricter requirements.
  3. Once you've proven your capability to effectively lead a game on behalf of the community, you will be granted "Probational Council" status by the Council. Once you've proven to effectively bring traffic to the community on behalf of your game, you'll be promoted to a full Representative Council member.
If you're still reading this, then you obviously feel that you meet these requirements or will be able to meet these requirements.

Here are the general requirements:
  • You must be able to prove your identity and a reasonable reputation
  • You CANNOT run another community or be an active staff member of another community.
  • You must be active, daily, throughout the TsuGaming community once you start your sub-community
  • You will be required to pay an inital (one-time-only) fee of $25-to-$75 (depending on the game) as a donation to TsuGaming
  • You will be required to pay a $10 per month "upkeep" fee for as long as you are considered a Probational Member of the Council. Once you are promoted to a full Representative you will be required to pay $15 per month "upkeep".
If the game is on our list of desired games and you meet all other requirements, the Council may vote to reduce your initial one-time-only fee or even remove it. These fees are used exclusively for YOUR game and the resources that you'll need such as (teamspeak and webhosting, credit towards game servers, community-sponsored events and competitions). The community does not care how you get this money. If you get people to donate it to you up front, and each month, that is 100% O.K. But these fees are non-negotiable. They must be paid in full each month by someone, and you will be the one held responsible to see to it that they are paid to the community.

Here is a list of games that we are in specific need of reps for:
  • Battlefield 2
  • Counterstrike (note: we already have an active candidate for this game)
  • Unreal Tournament 2007
  • World of Warcraft

srry for the double post but after carefull thought ive decided not to host my crysis server for tsu,

the main reasons are,

You CANNOT run another community or be an active staff member of another community.

im an active member in quite a few communitys so leaving all them to run 1 server wont happen,

You will be required to pay an inital (one-time-only) fee of $25-to-$75 (depending on the game) as a donation to TsuGaming
You will be required to pay a $10 per month "upkeep" fee for as long as you are considered a Probational Member of the Council. Once you are promoted to a full Representative you will be required to pay $15 per month "upkeep".

i didnt really get this bit, why am i paying tsu for a server im hosting, ? i already pay for the server so paying tsu as well a one off fee and a monthly fee ?

well sorry for wasting your time, i'll just leave the crysis server as it is for now.

The server would be the same as your payment. But I will retract your application. Thanks anyway.

fl00d3d, he gets his Crysis Server from GameServers.com, so he means that he'd have to pay you and also pay GameServers.com $30 a month for his server.

He's made his decision anyway, so, 'nuff said.

He wouldn't have to pay flooded if he put a TSU name on his server.

^Exactly.

The reason its worded that way is because I wouldn't want someone (ie. in his example) to contribute a server, then cancel it the month after he gets a council position, and not contribute financially. The money goes towards expenses (mainly game servers). So if he was already paying for one and it was run under our name and standards then that is good enough for me. Or he could just pay us his $10-15 a month upkeep fee (which is significantly less than the cost of a game server) and we'd pay the rest of the game server. So, tbh, the argument is kinda weak. I'm guessing he just misunderstood me.
