We're back online!

After about 5 full days of downtime we're back in business. Long story short, we had planned and scheduled to take our main servers down for maintenance and upgrades ... but we only planned on it taking about 1 day at the very most. Between conflicting schedules (Nightma12 and I in two different time zones, etc.), a hard drive failure, design flaws, mysql crashes, etc. .... it ended up taking us 4 extra days.

HOWEVER, we are pleased to announce that our websites will be more secure, full of more features, and that 0% of data was lost during this process.

We're still in the process of migrating website data over from the old webserver, so you may notice a few bugs here and there or a few affiliate/sponsored sites that arne't working. You may also notice IRC or Teamspeak having some issues.

PLEASE REPORT ALL BUGS AND PROBLEMS .... no matter how small or large ... HERE IN THIS TOPIC!

Here is a list of things you should watch for bugs in:

• Website sessions/logins/registrations
• Teamspeak
• IRC
• Our public game servers

If you notice these things, or anything else, that isn't online or is bugged ... please mention it in this thread so we can fix it asap. It's impossible for us to predict everything, so we're counting on you to provide quality feedback.

Sorry for the downtime, and trust me when I say it wasn't intentional. Nightma12 and I both slept very little for the last 4 nights. This last night we both stayed up all night. And 2 of the nights I stayed up until 4-5am only to wake up a few hours later and continue to work.

Customers should expect a much more detailed explaination of the outage through the support portal/mass email very soon. If you are a customer, please do NOT post in this topic as this is for TsuGaming community issues only.

wow site is still down, something about "You are not authorized to view this page"

The WoW stuff has not been fully setup on the new system yet, so I assume nightma or fl00d3d disabled the site for that reason.

I don't see the tsugamign logo by the tab!!! like say i have 5 pages open on one Firefox page... and they all have their logos like the G for google. It just a little paper for tsugaming.. i miss it lololololol

Yea on a side note ...when i heard that teamspeak was up i jumped for joy(lol) but when i tried to join using ts.tsugaming.com i get the message i " no reply from server. Maybe the server is off line or maybe teamspeak is not running on it" But when i join by the ip it works fine.

I see the logo too, but that might just be the cached one in my bookmarks or something...

The Teamspeak issue is probably because fl00d3d/Nightma12 needs to redo the DNS Zones for ts.tsugaming.com - until then, it won't work.

I thought they would have done it at the same time as doing irc.tsugaming.com though...

The navicon (as its called) is working and has been working. So something may be wrong with your browser.

As for the teamspeak address: the address has changed to 74.86.60.197. I have updated ts.tsugaming.com to point to the correct IP address so ts.tsugaming.com now work as well. In the future, don't bother with IPs. IPs can change all the time, so the most important thing to remember is the address (ts.tsugaming.com) and then let us handle the IP changes.

Lee's working on a ren server issue that came up today
the irc channels need registration and the op lists repopulated (vop, hop, ext)
editing signatures and adding file comments are still white font on white background

ok that ss up there was just to see if the white font was still on the file comment, and i cant edit that post right after it went up...

-TsuCTF channel is registered and modlist updated
-TsuCTF-admin channel is registered and modlist updated
A few problems
1. The admin channel for the TsuCTF-admin is not protected (a.k.a. anyone can join it).
2. The text is white so you cannot see it (in post above).
3. IPDB server is not connecting to irc (connection fails after about 15 seconds in the RDP)

Other than that ranks and banlist are working fine on IRC.

IPDB is not connecting cause lee still has not given me a new RDP login so I can't load it up

I guess that the admins need to register the oldschool channel with chanserv unless they want
