Fraps question ;)

Has anyone ever heard of FRAPS being screwed up because of updated scripts? I have latest scripts (talking about renegade btw) and recently FRAPS wouldn't take any videos or screenshots? Hmmm
I have Xfire, Msn, mIrc, and sometimes TS when I'm playing, and I've heard Xfire can screw around with Renegade's new scripts... any comments? Should I just downgrade to 2.9?

Does it just not take videos or screenshots at all? Or does the picture just appear as jagged 'snow' lines?

For example my hotkey is f12 for videos. You know when you take a video, your FPS turns red? Well when I hit the button if flashes red for half a second, then goes back to yellow, but nothing was recorded. =/ i is sad
i may just go back down to old scripts

Usually a flashing means it is taking a ss.

You're out of hard drive space.
Fraps videos eat up a lot of hard drive space, and once you get short on space (to save videos), it does exactly that (starts, then stops). Check to see how much hard drive space you have left in the partition/drive you're saving the Fraps videos to.

i went back down to 2.9.x scripts and i could take vids... I have plenty of space on my hard drive: 138 gb on my c drive

I don't know why people have so many problems with scripts.dll 3. You guys must be running 5 year old drivers on 10 year old hardware.

Although the fact that scripts.dll 3.x are forcing a DX8 game to run on DX9 probably does not help
Personally I have never had a problem with the 3.x scripts, other than that one version that leaked mem and crashed after a few minutes (which JW fixed pretty quickly) and the old alt-tab crash bug that was also fixed for the most up to date versions.

of course... i had scripts 3.x before i did my clean install, and i could run fraps fine... hmmmm... im gonna go to that thread where i asked about updating something or something along those lines o.O
