According to xpertz of the matter and Ex-westwood empleoyees; Yes.

Look at the image. It's very interesting to hear the
plans that Westwood HAD & EA messed...

The whole introduction of Red Alert was going back in time to kill Hitler and see how that would reshape history. Kane (pre-Nod) was a part of that. They even talk about Nod in Red Alert. "...in the land of Nod. For the forseeable future *gunshot* ..... 'I am the future'".

Sounds to me like they're trying to cover up a failure OF A FAILURE. Meaning: Tibwars3 and all of these new C&C games are **COMPLETE** failures (especially in regards to the storylines). And since they butchered the hell out of the storylines, they're trying to erase the past by pretending it was never meant to be that way.

RA is 100% part of the C&C universe. It 100% ties in with Kane and Nod. And EA is just a bunch of retards that have butchered the hell out of the proper C&C Universe.

I'm sorry, I don't buy their bullshit.

LONG LIVE WESTWOOD!

No spam, please.

I'm actually glad they are keeping the stories separate. And like it said, if you kept them together, it's a very large mess, and would have a loooooonnnng story line. C&C 3 is where the Tib War is right now, and it should and most likely should stay there for a while. RA3, in my opinion, will most likely cap the story or start to wrap things up, than EA will stop making RA games, but still support/patch online multiplayer.

Honestly, EA just needs to stop with the RTSs. They just bought Valve, so they may have a little more knowledge of it. Everyone can say it: Crysis was good. EA ain't so hot at RTS.

I do not believe the RA and Tiberium storylines were ever meant to be crossed. More likely the actor that plays Kane was a big fan and asked for a part in their other projects. (never actually seen that clip with kane in RA)

EA has utterly failed at producing not just RTS games but PC games in general. They are meant to be making console games and do those very well, but their greed to intrude on PC gaming will fail if they can't get out of the console gaming menallity.

and killer, there is a classic example of you starting sh*t with stone so knock it off

Meant to be or not, they 100% *are* interconnected. It could have been done better, but it wasn't. So why is it that EA continues to push the C&C storyline with 'Tiberium' (upcoming FPS) and C&C3? And furthermore, why release a Red Alert 3 *at all*? And even FURTHER.....why have C&C:Red Alert, C&C:Red Alert 2, then 'Red Alert 3'. They're sooooo f*cking retarded. Repair the storyline since you started it, and show a little bit of creativity for once. And for the love of God do not insult the C&C Universe by taking the 'C&C' prefix off of one game in a series of about, what, 6-7 games (not including expansions).

Oh, and as far as 'long story lines' being a problem: I think the Warcraft franchise is doing quite well with its extremely complicated and LONG storyline.

I've known of this for some time.

The idea of having separate story-lines allows EA to milk more money.

1 'combined' CnC game vs 3 different CnC games. It only makes sense if you put it that way.

Also, all links of the connection were severed once Ra2 and Tib Sun came out. Although in Renegade, you can see some pictures of Apocalypse tanks in the last level of the single player campaign in the bottom of the temple.

Not to mention, complicated story lines are fun to think about. tp((

If you ask me I DO NOT LIKE the Red Alert 3 storyline.
Cmon. Japan??? -.- It screw up everything!

Then why the USS Arizona memorial appears in Red Alert 2?
I thought they already fought Japan before the RA2 War.

The only possibility that explains why the USS Arizona appears there
is if the Russians during the First RA War sunk the Arizona.

But the stupid thing is that the Americans werent in RA 1! xD
So how it is sunk?

Classic example of the lack of creativity of EA.

It's just for show. There was no WWII in that game. But everyone knows that there is a big memorial in the water at Pearl. Does it really matter?
