this player is my 9 year old litte girl she dose not have any hacks
i was trying to get in game with her when i looked at her screen and seen her killing someone in tunnels
she was gdi and she was killing a nod player your heath was in red and then all she got kicked for hacks
i talked to bassace about this today he told me to make a post about this this was her 1st time playing
ren online before she got off and said i didn't do anything dad and stated to cry about this

well the reason she was banned was for pt hack

I was in game when this happenned, xcherryx was lagging a lot, and me and my neighbor (Fitzgerald) both acknowledged it. When she was kicked we knew it was a mistake. I think the lag caused her to be far away from the PT. Unban!!!

Lol, Spurs posted that just as I was about to ask for in-game mods and players to post.

Tbh NightRegulator is rarely (if ever wrong) about PT hack, usually if purchase terminals are supposedly accessed at a distance away from the normal location that it could well be caused by lag a simple warning is usually just flashed up.

That being said, many of us have spoken to Tech over Teamspeak and I'm sure everyone will agree that he seems like a nice guy, and I for one am genuinely inclined to believe him (despite the many excuses that people have come up with over the years.)

We'll certainly do everything that we can to resolve this situation Tech.

P.S: Let you're girl know that it wasn't her fault or anything, and there's no hard feelings here. 0.o



EDIT: Another point however... If you did load a cheat to help your girl out while she played (understandable if not endorseable considering her age) now is the time to tell us mate.

Check the renlog to see what her ping, kbps, etc. were. If lag wasn't a factor I'd be hesitant to believe that NR made a mistake.

Found the logs.
Ping is fine, but 63452 kbits/s looks a little high. I'm not sure what to make of this, but it seems like it could have been lag.

If the KBPS were that high, then they'd have a dream connection because they'd have a T3 directly connecting them to the server.

That's the port number, dummy.

Lag doesn't appear to be a concern.

And Cursed: it's not actually NR. BIATCH flags the possible PT hack with an abnormal distance. And then NR auto-bans if the distance is higher than you'd find in a lag situation. Though it IS possible that BIATCH/NR would auto ban wrongly in this situation, it does in-fact look like RGH/pt hack was used.

LOL! I didn't trace the labels over very carefully tbh xD. I remember another situation in which someone claimed that their "dad" got banned and his "son" did all the talking to try and get him unbanned, lol. Looks like this is the same situation tbh.

By the way, since xcherryx has been caught with RGH now, that also means that you will no longer be able to connect to the server because your IPs are the same.

I am positive xcherryx was not cheating, she was doing terrible.. and lagging a lot. I witnessed it first hand, so did fitzgerald (we were playing renegade at his house). I'm 95% sure it was lag.

well thank you for checking everything out for me i am sorry about all of this but there are no hacks on
her computer and i really don't know what caused this but i will check the computer more tonight anyway thank you and thanks for everyone that tryed to help and the nice things team members said about me

People who get banned from the game servers do not get banned on the forums, teamspeak, or IRC unless they break the rules there.

I haven't concluded that she was cheating, but from all of the evidence I've seen ...... from a non-biased point of view ..... it doesn't look good for her.

That being said, PT hack is one of the least malicious cheats out there (though it IS a part of RGH and could be used to use other cheats), and Spurs is very sure it wasn't lag. So I'd say give her another chance and see how it goes. But I still stand by BIATCH/NR that the odds of this being a false-positive remain low.

I'd have to agree with fl00d3d here. If someone showed me her ping and kbit/s and the distance of purchase from the PT, I'd say that they were cheating. That being said, I stand by the ban. I used to play with 300-400 ping and I never tripped BIATCH for a pt hack once. My computer isn't very good, and keep in mind I was playing with 28k internet (4kb/s downloading).
