Hi guys,

I was wondering if there is a way to have NR point to a certain IP like VPN. I know when you host a game you can choose an IP address for Renegade to connect with. Can the same be applied to NR? Kudos for the programmer, NR was pretty easy to set up.

No you can not have it point to an IP, NR has to run on the computer as the server.

Why do you want to do this?

it was moved to the NR forums, but there will also be a shadow of it in the ask the founder section which will link you to it.

IM not a big fan of Westwood online and I would like to play on my domain.

Ah I dont know what that has anything to do with it. You mean your going to play lan?

That doesnt have anything to do with why you cant put NR on the server computer.

When I try LAN through NR I can see the game but I am not able to click on the game to join?

Okay well you need to learn a lot more before you just go hosting

NR has nothing to do with your server having problems.

Ive had problems joining on lan before too, I would just host on XWIS (WOL) or GSA

Try restarting server and check all settings.

it seems that all my settings are correct, just don't know what i can see the game under lan but can't join?
