SUGGESTED FEATURE: REAP TIME

Every x minutes, the person on GDI with the lowest score dies and loses a life.

This is to stop people from running off and hiding all game and then winning.

Just to help you guys out.

I was originally thinking 5 minute reap time.

But smaller games are less than 5 minutes.

I could do a formula? It would be proportional to number of people ingame ovbiously.

More people ingame.. longer between reaps.

I could even set a MAXIMUM reap time? so if we get 50 players in.. the reap time would never get longer than x minutes?

Actually...now that I think about it... Could you make the reap time cancel when it gets down to a certain amount of people when a certain amount of people are ingame?
For example... It would really suck if we had a 14 player game going on, and two people were left, and one of them got killed cuz of this, even though they are probably fighting hard again 12 other mutants.

and whats stopping them from hiding?

I could make it not kick people who have over x points? and cancel then?

Or would that make people run off and hide as soon as they get over that many points?

Well would they have earned the right to hide after getting so many points? We could assume they earned points, but they lost lives because of that, and they just want to savor the last one they hide? Oooooooo there's so many stuff to think about!

5 minutes is a good max but it should not happen when only 2 are left

we had a 14 player game earlier, and i dont think reap time is needed at all one the big games =/

I think im going to wait untill the server has some more bigger games on it (20+) so we can then judge whether or not this is needed or not.

Agreed. I'm not in favor of the time limit at all. I'm a good camper :P. But imagine if you're having a bad day and everyone's stealing your kills, next you lose a life. Imagine that...
