For those of you that have been around for more than a couple of years, you'll remember we used to have a feature called TsuPoints. This was effective a virtual currency used for various rewards. It never completely got off the ground and then the feature was removed during a lot of our upgrades.

The new and improved TsuPoints (version 2) is now online! It is, however, a beta - as I am still tweaking settings and bugs.

Here are some things you'll need to know about TsuPoints:

• Users will be rewarded weighted points based on forum activity. The most rewarding way to earn points is by creating new topics. The second most rewarding way to earn points is to be active on the forums and to stay involved in new topics by replying with a quality post. Spam will not be tolerated.
• An all new lottery feature has been introduced. As of now, tickets cost 10 TsuPoints. You may purchase up to 5 tickets. Each ticket has a chance of winning the jackpot. The lottery is drawn every 72 hours (3 days).
• An all new robbery feature has been introduced. As of now, a person may attempt to steal up to 50% of their TsuPoints from another user. Any losses are dumped into the lottery.

All TsuPoints/bank data can be viewed at the bottom of the forums. In the future I will continue to introduce more and more features which take advantage of the TsuPoints system.

It was a long time ago. I can't remember exactly how long ago it was.

One thing I noticed is it has a donate button on user profiles now... might get confused with the donate button?

I think they'll figure out the difference.

Hmm... could easily rename it to something like 'Gift TsuPoints' or something though... just strikes me as wierd having two donation systems on one forum for completely different things.

I could always just remove the ability for people to donate TsuPoints to eachother altogether lol.

I think you should put all unclaimed tsupoints after 1 week into the lottery

Whats the point in the bank? If the interest rate is 0.00% and it takes a 10% cut of withdrawals then any money you put in is automatically reduced to 90% of its value and will never increase. A bit pointless...

The price you pay to have it protected from thieves.

So what are the points actually going to be used for? Having a look at the Control Panel for it, it seems the only feature they can be used for at the moment is to clear warnings?
