UPDATE (01 Feb 2012): Due to a shortage of three people, I had to shift Nightma12 to Financial Officer and appoint myself to the Executive position. These positions are effective as soon as these individuals have a private conversation with me on Teamspeak. At that time, they will be given access to the private section of the Government forums.

Where's the slot titled "cleanest motherlover here" for 6 vote points? That's the one I want.

Remember: if ANYONE does not support someone being in one of these positions all you have to do is say so. In the future, anonymous polls (validated by having a registered account) will facilitate the election process.

It doesn't seem Danpaul is active enough, or cares enough, to participate. Dog02, I'm moving you up to the Technical Officer nomination.

Which means we're now short a Financial Officer and three Council seats. Get involved, people. Council seats don't require any special work or responsibilities (other than voting and staying involved in the community).

First I have seen of this topic, not got a lot of time at the moment (off to cycle home through the freezing cold in a minute) so I will re-iterate what I have said before.

Currently I have little time for engagement with online communities, hence why I have been withdrawing from positions on various projects / forums lately. This has not changed and in the last few weeks I have had a fresh batch of web development work come through that's going to keep me busier than normal for at least 4 months. So;

Is mostly likely accurate. As always I am going to drop by the forums now and then read up on the latest topics and hopefully jump into the Minecraft server occasionally, but actively participating in community management is unrealistic right now.

I will take one of the council seats as long as its not a huge time commitment. I already stalk the forums from my phone 3 - 4 times daily so I'm pretty well informed. Also I've been around since the renunderground days so i will be around always

Sounds good, darr - I'll put you in one of the council seats. The council position is more or less a member of the community that gets to vote on issues. That's about the extent of it. You have to be democratically elected, but during this initial stage it's more volunteer and "no objections" that gets you elected. So welcome.
