UPDATE (11 July 2012): This round of elections aims to solidify the structure through a semi-democratic/self-election/appointment system. All Executive Board positions are considered open, though none of the people previously holding these positions are yet relieved of their duties. I would like to see who is still interested in retaining the position(s). There is at least one council seat open (Liz has been sick and unable to fulfill her duties) as well. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A LEADERSHIP POSITION - NOW IS THE TIME TO SPEAK UP! If you currently hold a leadership position and do not want to be considered any longer, please let me know immediately.

I'll hold on to my council seat unless anyone objects. And if they do, I'm definitely holding on to it.

im still around if you want me to hold on to mine but i would not be against someone more active wanting it

I'll hold onto my position, if we can come up with some ideas to increase activity. Should be able to devote more time now that my exams are over. Also helps that I'm buying a few games on Steam.

Actually, I'm going to withdraw from being Operations Officer. I'll hand the reins over to someone who's more enthusiastic for what's up and coming.

I am working through all of this right now. Any last minute changes?

Well, it really depends on when the next set of appointments are going to be. If it's going to be in a month (maybe even a month and a half), then I could probably stick around as Operations Officer. But if it's going to be, what, three months like this last set has been, then I won't be active for the second half of the term as I'll be finding my feet at University and I'd rather not take part for the first half if I won't take part for the second, you know? Plus, hopefully by then, this place would have received a shot of activity.

Well I'm not desperate for leadership. I could run this by myself if I wanted to, lol. The idea is to get people involved. Share ideas. Keep things as democratic as possible. But in order to do that, we need active voices.

Then perhaps it's better that I move on.
