that one is £915 so bit over budget but sure i can strech it.( will have to go wiothout food for a few days lol )

yeh that one is kick *ss, quad cores are still expensive so if you can get a decent price, go for it i say. 8800's are good too.

Build, defiantly build, works out so much cheaper. Plus you get to decide what you want and what part you spend the most money on. There are alot of guides on the net about putting together a new comp. Plus you have all of us to help. Also the motherboard instruction manual can be very useful.

Anyway, in the past I would always have said build your own, but there are a LOT of decent spec machines for a very reasonable price now and it might be cheaper to get one of those and add some extra RAM / upgrade a few parts. My advice is to simply price things up and see what turns out to be cheapest.

well with a bit o knowledge and some help from us geeks building your own system isn't that hard,
800 pounds is what like 1400$ american?

you wont get top of the line, but dual core and 3-4gigs ram is entirely possible, i'd suggest checking out

hi im looking to get a new base unit as mine allways break, im looking to spend around £800 somthing with duel core and 3-4mb ram is it best to buy or attempt to build my own even no i dont think i could be able to build lol. Or do i trust a stranger to do it for me .
