well with a bit o knowledge and some help from us geeks building your own system isn't that hard,
800 pounds is what like 1400$ american?
you wont get top of the line, but dual core and 3-4gigs ram is entirely possible, i'd suggest checking out
http://www.newegg.com and http://www.tigerdirect.com

I assume you mean 3-4gb? Because 3-4mb wont get you very far these dayswelshboyo84 wrote:3-4mb ram
Anyway, in the past I would always have said build your own, but there are a LOT of decent spec machines for a very reasonable price now and it might be cheaper to get one of those and add some extra RAM / upgrade a few parts. My advice is to simply price things up and see what turns out to be cheapest.

Link does not work, you would need to screenshot it as the search results are only in your browser session, so we cant see them.

Build, defiantly build, works out so much cheaper. Plus you get to decide what you want and what part you spend the most money on. There are alot of guides on the net about putting together a new comp. Plus you have all of us to help. Also the motherboard instruction manual can be very useful.
Re: to build or to buy
You can build a the top-of-the-line gaming computer for under $2,000.
Edit: If your looking to build, please shop @ newegg.com & tigerdirect.com ---- Best prices for quality equipment.
