Renguard Problem

Hi Community!

I've just set up a Renegade-Server (Windows FDS) and installed "NightRegulator v0.3.5 Beta 8i".

Everythink works best - I only have a Renguard-Problem. The MOTD ID is correct - Renguard site shows

- Server(s) online using this MOTD:
AlexejC70's Server (81.223.76.233:0) on LAN
Players: 1 / 24
Map: C&C_Walls_Flying.mix
Pure: NO

For my nick the renguard webite also shows that I'm logged in. But tne NightRegulator keeps saying "AlexejC70 is NOT using RenGuard".

Any ideas whats going wrong? Thanks a lot in advance!

Yeah you cant use it on yourself in your server. Server sees your IP as your local IP, reguard sees your external IP. Responding that your not logged in.

Anyway, why would you want an FDS on a LAN?

Stick that sh*t on XWIS! If you do that, it might say you are using RenGuard because you're using your External IP to connect to XWIS.

Or, I could just be blabbering on. You tell me!

Doesnt matter where he hosts, The FDS sees his internal IP address.

I have 100 Mbit here - so why setting a FDS server somewhere else? Running the whole thing from my own desktop PC is just easier that using a hosted server somewhere else.

why would you want renguard on lan anyway, You know all the computers/people your playing.

You don't necessarily have to buy an FDS from somewhere else. You can download it and run it on your PC, same way a Renegade Hoster would :S

NightRegulator supports RenGuard, yes. You can enable your Server to be a Half RenGuard server or a Full RenGuard server.

Either way, they both suck.
