well i just go photoshop so im gonna try some stuff now
question, when i save as and put into my data folder, i click all the correct options, (ones they say on jelly) then after i clik save, it says all alpha info will be lost. Is this normal? or did i do somethin wrong

thats means your not saving it right. most skins dont have alpha so you save as "No Alpha (DXT1)"
but other skins have an alpha layer so you have to save them as "Interpolated Alpha (DXT5)"
examples: chem warrior, huds, recticals, ummm tires? lol

so to sum it up, if it says all alpha info will be lost, press cancel and save as DXT5

ya coloring is the only thing i know i don't get the hole alpha layer and how im supposed to make things like rets but anyways... here it is

heh it just takes practice learning the tools of photoshop and finding good paterns

meh im done for the night i guess. i still have to do the apache and nod harv and than im moving on to the gdi veh, than the buildings, then effects, then characters, then maps...i still have a long way to go
