From my experience, the 'station' is world wide, with the normal distance things of course.

Also, from past experience, you can't do the show WITH someone unless your on the same computer. But, you can hand the station off to the other person easily within 5 seconds.

There are 2 programs that I know of. One of them is a media/video player Winamp, but it has a plugin called ShoutCast that airs the show. It's a very easy and simple program to use. The more advanced one is called SAM, and it is pretty advanced.

Are both of those programs free? What kind of connection speed do you need to listen? Do they look good? What I see in the future is only 5 people actually using this system, since you need to download other software.
