Ban MobiE rgh/rof

This happened today in the aow (which doesn't lag at all) so I will post this here. On Islands MobiE was getting some pretty bs shots off, most of them with a shotgun. I happened to fraps this one. The two ss's included show you where he was, and where I was when he killed me. I compressed three videos, one is the actual incident, and the other two are shotgun demonstrations. I really don't know what to make of this, I know that the shotgun doesn't fire the same path each time, but he was hs'ing people with the shotgun the whole first part of the game. I would like all of your honest opinions.

I'm at school so I can't view the videos, but even the second screenshot is damn good proof. I've suspected this guy for a long time, as I think Ace knows....

By the way, the guy is mod on cctf.

I would definetly like a vote on this guy like st0nec0ld did... In the aow he always bought a sniper. Always did HS.. And when he did body shot his gun dident even flinch..

This is proof enough for me, and I'm sure Ecstasy's demonstration videos will really help people to understand too. I can understand that some people may not be convinced by the evidence offered, so I'll wait for Eski to agree before I ban.

My opinion is:

"it is definitely possible to hs with a shotgunner at that distance .. however .. if this was happening often then I'd say its almost certainly aimbot"

Getting a headshot at a distance with a shotgunner (short distance weapon) is possible if you're good with a shotty and just in range. But from the video you showed me he was a full square/tile away and shot "on the fly". So the odds of that being 100% accurate is a bit rare.

Research other nicknames used, his stats, etc. and get a better feel for who he is. Then weigh the proof you have in front of you against that and make a co-admin/admin decision. Be fair.

I spent about three and a half hours thinking about nothing this to be honest (sh*t lessons today), and I came up with the conclusion that I posted above. My reasoning is that this may be the best opportunity at banning him we get, and he gets flukey shots so often that, as I said above, I've suspected him for a long time.

I was aware that a fatal headshot could be achieved from that distance. But taking into consideration all of the other times he's owned me in suspicious way, this is enough for me; but since it's not irrefutable evidence, I was going to wait for Eski or Raulperez's opinion. Maybe we should open a moderator vote though, it would certainly be more democratic and fair to the accused.

Mabye conduct a test? Not test Mobie but test how easy it is to get a headshot with a shotgun

Yea hs's with a shotty from that distance are pretty rare. The only time i seen it often was when I was in rape and Stone and Crash. They used to just abuse people with shotties. And as we all know Crash is an rgh user.

Watch him, fraps him and whatnot. If his shottie starts sucking you know he stopped cheating then he will make himself look like a cheater. If he is cheating then you can get enough proof to ban. Lols either way it doesnt look good for this guy.

Dude i was sniping against him in the Oldschool server.. He got 4 body shots on my havoc his gun never even flinched man i swear it was dead still.. Just like holding the button down..

And when he did hs's rarley did i hear his bullets...witch back in the day we used to be able to catch cheaters. <---------(Right Click)

And yeh his shotgun was bs just running down the tunnel hs'in NOD i was right behind him.. and ive got a decent pistol and he was just straigh taking these guys down lmao.. If for some reason he dosent get banned ill frap him ingame.

Oh yeh, yesterday my m8 ChiPMunKk was playing with me and he plays on his laptop normally sittin next to me.. and by god that MoBiE guy spectated him man.. i swear to god he couldent get shot from where he was... and boom hs loooses his tech.. i was like did u see any 1?

After a lengthy discussion, Eski and I have decided that Mobie is using either RoF or RoF in conjunction with RGH.

I just raped him in CCTF about an hour ago. He was clean or using his hacks sparingly, as he only killed me when I had the flag bout to cap.

actually, even if he was using aimbot, at that range youll still have a wide grouping of the buckshot. Ive seen and tested objects that would turn the shotgun blast into a single projectile with as much damage as the stock shotgun. Thats what i was thinking but i wasnt there for the actual event

There it is... he can't aim for sh*t with a tank which is very suspicious. If you page through the cctf forum I did test him before, but his test was clean and I trusted him. I've tested AprilWar before, I'll test anyone that I think hacks.
