Well once this is up can we get a special spot on the forums to post a playlist(s).......Still kinda wondering if this is gonna be run by one person or if we are going to allow anyone to DJ with permission =D

Going to be a set playlist or take requests from songs in the list?! =D just trying to cover stuff for once it finally gets up =p

Just to inform the community, I am currently working on the Music Streaming Addon to the site. I can't say when it will be finished, nor can i tell you what special features will be on it. But I am just letting you guys know that we have not forgotten about it and plan on finishing it shortly.

For this addon, we will be needing people to be DJs. All music will have to be prereviewed with the council before playing the song. Once a song is approved, you will no longer need approval for that song.

No offense, but that is bullshit. You can't be that strict. There are MILLIONS of songs out there, and no one wants to here they same songs over and over every 30 minutes. Say No to a certain artist or genre, say "If it has the word n**ger in it, it won't work". But don't say the song has to be pre-approved.

I am not saying censoring everything. I am just saying keeping it appropriate for the community. Now I personally do not have a say in this decision, but if I were the council I would think hard about it.

I love music, its just people may come here and expect to see a unify performing system. I don't care what kind of music it is. Just don't want it getting out of hand.

As long as metal and/or alternative music is allowed it's cool with me. Only rap songs would need to be reviewed tbh, and we can have different channels. We can have a "Balls Yet To Drop" channel, and then the real channel.

Aye, ecstasy, a DECENT radio stream costs about $40-$50/month. If we were to get 2, it would be a waste. And, there are no "Channels" you don't type in '101.TSU' and get connected. Its a lot different. Everything has full names, not like on the real radio.

And, even if we did get 2 streams, a "Balls Yet To Drop" stream is stereotypical. Very.

I'm all in favor of free speech and non-censorship, although if the stream will be publicly available, legally we either need to make it "decent" or make it within a disclaimered area similar to the free speech forum.

Despite our large 'older gamer' (16+) fan base, who i think would find most music suitable, we do have some younger ones, or ones who may be offended by explicit lyrics. So we either have to make all music suitable for the, or provide a way to keep them from hearing it inadvertently.
