Recent login/cookie issue

Post by fl00d3d »

It has come to my attention that there has been a recent problem loggin in. I believe this to be a cookie issue, and I think Danpaul and I have figured out what is wrong (and it should be fixed now).

If you still can't log in, clear your cookies by clicking on the "Delete all board cookies" link.

When you log in, make sure you select 'Remember Me'.

If you STILL can't log in, then its a browser issue. Which means you'll have to manually delete the cookies through your browser options.

I have confirmed that this resolves the problem ... so it should be 100% fixed now.

What's the same?

If you're talking about still having the problem then I suggest you try a browser that actually works (ie. NOT opera) because as I told you earlier on MSN, I logged out, cleared my cookies, opened a new browser, and logged back in the very first try. So it's not the site, its you.

I use Firefox and I've never experienced any of these issues.

IE7 isn't bad, but Firefox is definitely more efficient. If you don't believe me, surf a bunch of pages and watch your CPU while using IE7. A classic example is if you have 'smooth scrolling' enabled (which is by default) on IE7, it uses about 90% of your cpu just to scroll down the page lol.

Anyway, back on topic. Site is fine.
