Scheduled Downtime - for updates

Post by fl00d3d »

There will be a scheduled outage on Monday evening around 11pm U.S. Eastern time (Tuesday @ 4am GMT).

The site will undergo a phpBB version update as well as address some small bugs. In addition, we will be installing 10 modifications.

Estimated downtime is approximately 3 hours.

During the outage period, we ask that you stay off of the forums even if they appear to be working. We will do our best to let you know when the work has officially ended by making a post in this topic. PLEASE REPORT ANY BUGS IN THIS THREAD!

Which modifications exactly? I will need to check that they don't cause issues with the shoutbox or anything, since as you know the entire site relies on the phpBB template parser backend...

I can talk to you about this on MSN if you'd like. I'm doing this myself since you've been short on time recently.

This is being delayed until I can have a chance to meet with Danpaul about a few issues. We haven't been able to keep in touch the last few days, and he's in the middle of another project - so I want to make sure he gets that done first ... before I start another one.
