Getting Started
So you've downloaded Hamachi (if you haven't downloaded Hamachi yet, download it HERE) and now you need to know wtf to do with it because you want to play LAN games with your friend. Before I explain the step-by-step instructions on how to get it going, let me first explain whats going on when you run Hamachi.
Hamachi is VPN software (Virtual Private Network) which allows your computer to "tunnel directly" to another computer. It's a geek way of hooking two computers that are far away up to eachother directly. The advantage of this for gamers is when they want to play a LAN game with their friends, but their friend is on the internet and not their house - so they can't. But with Hamachi you can run the software and its as if they're physically connected to your PC directly!
