NR.exe file disapearing? HELP!!!

Ok so here's the story...Late Thursday night I was playing on renegade and had my server up with NR and everything was going fine. The NR also updated that Thursday evening. The next day on Friday I left for a basketball camp with my team, on the day I left I did not turn on my server/NR or renegade. So now its Sunday and I'm back from camp. So I turn on the comp and notice that the NR desktop icon has changed from being that black X sort of thing to being one of those progrma icons that are a square with a white box in the middle and a blue line on top. I click the icon and a popup comes up saying that I am missing the shortcut and that "Windows is searching for the NR.exe file. So I'm like wtf is goin on here? I decide to head over to my other laptop which also has NR installed on it and its the same problem!!! I am 100% sure that I did not delete the file so how come it has just suddenly disspeared? And what can I do to fix? Thanks!

they will tell you to disable your antivirus like I told you..

That doesn't make sense since the antivirus has never deleted it before so why start now?

and ... Live update could be why?

I told you yesterday nightma, He has macaffee.

piot - The antivirus doesnt delete NR, It stops nr from updating itself which causes the exe to disappear because NR could not download the new exe from the update server.

yea update.exe deletes the file... then tries to download the new NR.exe

could you switch off your ant-virus.. then scan it and tell me what virus it is detecting it as please?

Well I scanned my computer for viruses and it got deleted again, it was listed as a trojan. It also says New Malware.BL but I don't know what that means.

Mcaffee thinks NR is a virus?

may i have a screenshot of mcaffee detecting it with all the info plz?
