Weird Renegade Problem

So when i load renegade the game works normally except my screen just turns black does anyone know an easy fix for this? (i would reinstall but my CDs are at home with my CD key and im at college)

If i cant get this fixed then i will not be ingame for 3 weeks but i am always in IRC and on the forums.

Its a windows 7 error, i got it the first time i played after windows, and also about 2 days ago. The only difference is my screen goes blue. I just quit out of renegade and then rejoined and it works fine.

No even if i do that i still get a black screen i may get rid of RR see if that helps

I know this can be caused by installing Core Patch 2 after installing 3.4.4, try reinstalling 3.4.4 using the installer at http://4camp.net/scripts344.exe

so i tried reinstalling the scripts and i tried running it in XP compatiblility and in vista service patch one compatiblity and i still get a black screen but i can hear the game running i also tried removing RR and nothing worked so im gunna try reinstalling it but my CDs and CD key are at home so i will not be in game again until the 12th (i have one cd here but not the other)

i get the same prob on my other com so i play with no cp or scripts lol but with i do with RR

i have vista on the other com and dont have a clue how to fix it lol
