TsuPoints
Frequently Asked Questions

What are TsuPoints?
TsuPoints (Tsunami Gaming Network Points) are a virtual currency used as a reward for activity and participation throughout the community.

How do I obtain TsuPoints?
  • Creating new topics on forums
  • Reply to topics on forums
  • Play in the arcade (coming soon)
  • Be active on Teamspeak (coming soon)
How are TsuPoints calculated?
There are a lot of different calculations (and variations of these calculations) that take place. Generally speaking, creating new topics gives you the highest reward. Some forums give more points than others (such as answering someone's question in the Help Me forum).

Why did I receive NEGATIVE TsuPoints?
This usually applies to moderators, but sometimes a person edits a post and removes characters from that post. Part of the calculation considers the number of characters in your post, so if you remove characters the net effect may be a loss of TsuPoints.

I got robbed! Wtf?
One feature of the TsuPoints system is the 'robbery' function. Users may attempt to steal up to 10% of another user's TsuPoints. There is a 1 in 5 (20%) chance that they will be successful. IF they ARE successful, they steal the TsuPoints. If they are NOT successful, THEY will lose 50% of the amount they tried to steal.
<Feature Disabled>

The Lock Box
If you wish to protect your TsuPoints from thievery, you may place it in the Lock Box. Nothing is free in life, however. When you withdraw your TsuPoints you will be charged 5%.

How does the Lottery work?
Every 72 hours (3 days) the Lottery system automatically draws one ticket. You may purchase up to 5 tickets per Lottery period. When a ticket is selected, it has a 75% chance of being a winner. If it is a winner, the winner is rewarded with the Jackpot.

What do you mean when a ticket is selected it has a 75% chance of winning?

It means that if your ticket is randomly selected, it has a 75% chance of winning the jackpot. If it were 100% then one person could regularly play alone, and win every time.

You might want to mention that the 'Lock Box' is referred to as a 'Bank Account' in the actual user interface

EDIT;
Never mind, it looks like you renamed it in the UCP menu since I last used it.
