I was running a virus scan, and my anti-virus found a (possible) virus, as usual I go to remove it, but when I go to remove it asks if I want to remove by deleting the virus or removing the "magnetic force microscopy"

Google didn't help too much. So I just chose to use "magnetic force microscopy" too see what it did, and it removed it so I assume it worked


What the Hell is "magnetic force microscopy"?

Sounds like a fancy way of saying 'physically erase from disk rather than just delete the file indexes'. Also completely irrelevant if using an SSD.
