Oh.... so Lee didn't make it either then? Because whenever Lee or myself are in these meetings we end up going off on tangents of tangents of tangents and spend hours rambling on without even covering the topics the meeting is supposed to be about :D Sean gets so annoyed with us lol

The meeting went on for about an hour (maybe longer)? I just didn't want to discuss Farnagain's new position immediately following the meeting because I was really hungry lol

If this were a Facebook status, I'd like it.

I couldn't say that about TS2, but it's time to let Ventrilo die :P
Accept for the fact that to run it you have to have a degree in Communications.....LOL
Ventrilo is a far easier program to use for the regular Joe.

Aside from that TS3 is ceaseless on the settings you can apply to users, channels, server, etc.......
I used to run one and had a fun time customizing the icons and server ranks.

Something I would really love to do in our TS is rewrite the text to speech codes for entering channel and server to only have the user name, instead of user name then channel name then server name every time someone comes in the channel.

It can be quite complicated RUNNING a server, but as a client it's extremely easy.

I agree with that statement 100%. Client for either program is very simple to figure out and get running.
To be honest running the server is more about time consumption while messing with settings.
There are way to many settings to fool around with for the average user.

I must say that from what experiences I've had of running a Teamspeak Server (albeit it was TS2), the hosting and management of the server was very easy. If anything, there was a lack of options to customise your server.

I don't know how TSServer3 works, so maybe it's drastically different. For all I know, TSClient3 may well have a secret nuke launching capability - never used the thing.

Teamspeak 3 server and permissions configuration is WAY more complex and difficult than Teamspeak 2.

But this thread isn't about Teamspeak ;)
