Most of the people I know who use it at my school often show up blown. They stopped caring about school and dug themselves into a hole they couldn't get out. They party every single weekend to get to it and weed eventually led to alcohol which led to alcohol poisoning and making it out alive wasn't the case for one. This has happened more than a few times. While some may say cannabis doesn't influence these things directly and has benefits, it's also destroyed the lives of people.

That's fail. I guess it just depends upon who the person is. At the end of the day if you're weak minded you can f*ck yourself up with anything, be it weed; alcohol; fags or crystal meth.

I agree 100%, but that's why i'm neutral. There's a lot of people that can get f*cked up if they can't handle it, and there's benefits if you exercise control.

I did start one of those Medici but it wasnt for legalizing it, it was for decriminalizing it during election season for some proposition they were doing in my state. Theres already a handfull where it is decriminalized. By that I mean, under 1 oz. is no longer considered a crime of possesion and they have removed the consumtion penaltys for anyone over 21. Even without this, there are dispensereys EVERYWHERE that straight sell it like cheetos if you have a medicinal use card which are outrageously easy to get. Only need some quack doctor to write u a note which is ez enough to bs ur way into getting and a little cash to buy ur license.
Regardless of all of this, most adults that smoke can get it easily and are already responsible and wont be smoking where theyre likely to find trouble. I actually dont care what they do, I'm not spending money on a license, havent had legal issues with it since i was 15, and smoke almost every day.
I want to put 1 thing absolutely straight. Weed is NOT safe. It is safer than alcohol or tobbacco but definately not to be considered good for you. It barely has any medicinal value and is only being pushed through the american legal works to be a taxed alternative to alcohol and perhaps make room in the penal system.
Weed is a mind altering substance sure, but scorpio, no drugs will make people do anything they dont already want to. It just lubricates the situation for them. and you got your order turned around. I guarantee anyone who has smoked and drank, drank first. and FYI the cure for alcohol poisoning is puking, anyone who goes out that way deserves the darwin award.

Considering that the percentage of violent crimes, or accidents caused/happening while under the influence of marijuana is very incredibly low... I voted yes to this.
I do however believe that harder drugs, such as PCP Cocaine, Heroin, should be illegal as hell. Alcohol...causes more problems that MJ does. Back when I had made use of it, all I wanted to do was sit in my garage, eat, watch movies, and sleep. Now, granted, thats not very productive, but, I wasn't crazy.
