Tsunami Gaming

Effective immediately, there will be some changes to the way that Spotlight Gamers are handled.

Instead of doing monthly interviews, we will be doing seasonal interviews (quarterly). This means that we will have one spotlight gamer for every 3 months (instead of every month).

The reason for this change is two-fold:

1. The administration is way too busy managing a growing community to stay on top of regular interviews and make all changes to the forum system (including permissions/rank titles/etc) and formatting of interviews. This will help make interviews a little longer, higher quality, and easier to manage.
2. The value of being selected increases since the frequency of selection has been decreased. Many of our spotlight gamers don't get the attention we feel they deserve, and in many cases, reason#1 inhibits a full period of being in the spotlight as intended.

We hope that these changes will be an all around improvement to the Spotlight Gamer program.

Also, to clarify: the last interview conducted was MAY which just happens to be the last month of the SPRING SEASON. So we will be conducting one interview immediately for the SUMMER season (June, July, August) to catch up. And then shortly after will be conducting an interview for the FALL season (September, October, November).
