Uhm... my sound drive stopped working. I have a USB microphone and I went out of town for a few days last week, I came back.. and I guess the power went out or something. Anyways, I turned my computer back on, my sound wasnt working, and when I tried to open TS..
any ideas?

Looks like the driver got f*cked somehow.
If you know what kind of onboard sound/motherboard/sound card you have, it shouldnt be to tough to track down the right version and re-install.

Stupid question, but have you rebooted to see if it fixed it?
Other than that, go into Device Manager and check for any error devices and choose update drivers on any that are marked as being in error state. If none are in error state find the audio device and disable it, then re-enable it, that has worked for me before.

And since they dont have sarcasim in Ukraine, he already checked his drivers. My bets he fried his sound card.
