Facebook (Social Network) Sub-community Launched!

Post by fl00d3d »

I've decided that in an effort to better connect us to social networking sites, we're going to assign a sub-community manager to Facebook Games and take them more seriously. There is a very loyal following (and millions of people on Facebook), so it's a corner of the gaming realm that we should be involved in.

To kickstart this, I am going to appoint Sinestro as the Facebook Games Manager. It's kind of a generic title for the time being, but there isn't much he has to do other than recruit interest to Facebook games and get people on Facebook games to become more involved in TGN.

Our first game is going to be "Total Domination: Nuclear Warfare". It is a Facebook Game made by plaRium. There is a post HERE that tells you more about it. We're going to organize a clan/guild/outfit for this game in an effort to debut our presence in the social network realm.

If you play Facebook games and would like to get it associated with TGN, let Sinestro know and/or post below.

Let's get this party started! :bash:

You should make it Facebook games/any browser-based MMO. Curt and I used to be involved with OGame and The West back in the day.

Good idea though, they are jolly popular. Good luck Sine.

Oh god, Ogame... the amount of hours I sunk into that game is frightening...

Only browser game I play at the moment is Mousehunt on Facebook... no need to login constantly, just opening it once every 24 hours is enough to keep it ticking over, but if you go on every 15 mins (minimum time between hunts) you can progress faster.
